During the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction 2020 on Thursday. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have put their money on three Australians. RCB spent a whopping sum of Rs 8.60 crore to get the service of Aaron Finch, Kane Richardson and Joshua Philippe.
However, former Aussie Dean Jones took Aaron Finch’s entry in RCB as an opening to take a dig at Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel.
"How lucky are you @parthiv9 opening the batting with an Aussie @AaronFinch5.. you life just got easier! @RCBTweets He still is taller than you... but then again.. most cricketers are," Dean Jones tweeted.

Parthiv without wasting much time to respond to Jones jibe took to his twitter handle and wrote that he loves working with an Australian while wishing Jones ‘Merry Christmas’.
"I like to work with an Aussie... @AaronFinch5 is brilliant..and he is spending more time in Australia...unlike u @ProfDeano ..thank god u r gng home at least for Christmas...merry Christmas," Parthiv Patel replied.

The Bangalore based franchise have put in big money for all-rounders, for the upcoming IPL edition.
During the auction, RCB put forth a bid of Rs 10 crore to grab hold of South Africa’s Chris Morris. They also bought Sri Lanka’s Isuru Udana for his base price of Rs 50 lakh.
RCB also included old stager Dale Steyn, who joined the franchise as replacement for Nathan Coulter Nile in IPL 2019. Steyn was bagged by Bangalore for Rs 2 crore.
