David Warner becomes 12th Australian cricketer to go past 7000 runs

Australian batsman David Warner on Saturday became the 12th Australian to go past 7000 run mark in the longest format of the game.

There by, Warner also went past the legendary cricketer Don Bradman in the run-scoring list for the national team in Test cricket.


The 33-year-old achieved the milestone on day 2 of the first Test against New Zealand. He reached 7000 runs in his 151st innings.

On 30th November, Steve Smith went on to become the fastest player to register 7,000 runs in Test cricket.

Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar has attained the feat in the 134th and 136th innings respectively.
