Speculations of MS Dhoni taking retirement from international cricket started doing rounds on social media yesterday. After Indian skipper Virat Kohli shared a picture of him with MS Dhoni, netizens started speculating about his retirement.
MS Dhoni’s Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings took to their official twitter handle to shut down the speculations. CSK took a famous dialogue from ‘Game of Thrones’ but did not mention Dhoni’s name. CSK wrote, “Not 7oday,” number 7 is Dhoni jersey number in limited-overs.

Earlier, Sakshi Dhoni, wife of for Indian skipper MS Dhoni took to her official twitter handle to end the rumours of his retirement. Sakshi tweeted, “Its called rumours!” Team India chief selector MSK Prasad also said that the news is incorrect and termed it as rumours.
MS Dhoni took a two-month break from cricket after the 2019 ICC World Cup to serve in the Indian Army. Dhoni was not part of the squad for the recently concluded bilateral series against West Indies. Dhoni has also kept himself unavailable for the upcoming fixture against South Africa.
