The official Twitter handle of Cricket World Cup posted a picture of Gayle where is wearing a suit with tri-colour on one sleeve and Pakistan colour on another.

The Cricket World Cup captioned the picture, “The #UniverseBoss is ready for #INDvPAK.” The India-Pakistan match ticket was sold within two hours after the International Cricket Council (ICC) opened the window. Last time when India and Pakistan clashed with each other in Champions Trophy 2017, more than a billion people tuned in to watch the match.

Pakistan won the Champions Trophy final against India after Indian batting order was demolished by Pakistan bowlers.

India will face their arch-rival Pakistan on June 16 at Old Trafford, Manchester. India has won both their matches in the World Cup so far while their match against New Zealand was abandoned due to rain. Pakistan, on the other hand, has won only one match against England and lost against West Indies, Australia. Pakistan’s match against Sri Lanka was also called off due to rain.
