It was being speculated that team India is going to wear an orange jersey in World Cup 2019. The International Cricket Council (ICC) made a rule that every team should have an away kit for the World Cup and every ICC events. Team India was supposed to wear their away jersey against Afghanistan but they came out in their usual blue.

But now the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has ended all the speculations as they launched the orange jersey for team India today. The Indian cricket team will wear the orange away jersey in their World Cup clash against England on Sunday in Birmingham.

BCCI shared the picture of the jersey from their official Twitter handle and asked the fans if they like it or not. BCCI wrote, “Presenting #TeamIndia's Away Jersey. What do you make of this one guys #TeamIndia #CWC19.”

Team India is the only team in this World Cup with a 100 percent win ratio. India defeated West Indies by 125 runs in the recently concluded match at Old Trafford, Manchester. India has played six matches and won five of them as their one match against New Zealand ended with no result due to rain. India is currently sitting at number two on the points table despite playing two fewer matches than other teams and all thanks to their net run rate and win ratio.
