Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu was trolled on social media after Rishabh Pant was called in as a replacement of Shikhar Dhawan. Both Ambati Rayudu and Rishabh Pant was kept as reserve players if an injury kicks in during the tournament. Ambati Rayudu was first snubbed when Vijay Shankar was picked in India’s 15-member World Cup squad and then when Rishabh Pant was called in place of Shikhar Dhawan.

Ambati Rayudu made headlines after the Indian World Cup team was announced and he tweeted that he is going to watch the World Cup with a 3D glass he ordered. The 3D glass reference was in the context of BCCI’s chief selector MSK Prasad’s comment that Vijay Shankar is a three-dimensional player that is why he was picked over Rayudu.
