South Africa’s Keegan Petersen pulled off an absolute stunner at leg slip on Tuesday off the delivery of pacer Marco Jansen to send Cheteshwar Pujara back to the pavillion.
After Pujara’s dismissal, team India’s middle order batsman Ajinkya Rahane also got out knocking just a single. Rahane gloved a length bowl delivered by Kagiso Rabada to proteas captain Dean Elgar, who took the catch at first slip.
Yet another low score by India’s middle order batsmen, who are now mockingly dubbed as ‘Pu-Rane’ by Indian fans, was sufficient to create a buzz on social media with memes aiming at duo.
