South African explosive batsman AB de Villiers once again displayed his sensational from against Bangladesh in the second One Day International at Boland Park in Paarl. In the 2nd ODI match it looked like AB de Villiers might become the sixth batsman to notch up an ODI double-century. And the first ever batsman to achieve this fit who came to bat in middle order instead of opening.
AB De Villiers who is popularly known as Mr 360 smacked 176 runs off 104 balls and helped South Africa score 353 runs. The way De Villiers was hitting the ball in second One Day International everyone was expecting that the batsman might hit 200 runs. And become the first ever batsman in the history of cricket to score double century who comes for batting in the middle order. But the batsman fell short by 24 runs and was dismissed by Bangladesh in 48th over.
Former Indian opener Virendra Sehwag was so impressed with his performance that he took it to Twitter to appreciate his performance and wrote, "Wow! What smashing by AB De Villiers. Should become the first middle-order batsman to score an ODI-double".

But just after his Tweet the batsman was dismissed at the score of 176 runs. And in his next tweet, he showed how disappointed he was with his dismissal and wrote in his another Tweet, "Sorry ABdeVilliers17, nazar lag gayi. But always a delight to watch you smash bowlers. Incredible hitting!".

AB De Villiers completed his 25th ODI hundred just in 68 balls with one six and 10 fours.
