Tata Nano to make come back on roads, will run without petrol

Tata Nano, a city car manufactured by Tata Motors, is the cheapest car in the world. According to media reporters, Tata is planning to re-launch it and it will be launched on November 28. It has also been revealed that this time the car will be renamed as "Jayem Neo" and will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, it has not been confirmed yet.

Jayem Neo is a Coimbatore-based company that has singed an agreement with Tata Motors to source the body shell of the car.

This time the electric version of the car (EV) will be introduced in the market. Tata Motors for electric cars and company Jayem Automotive Coimbatore has partnered with it. According to the Economic Times, Jayem Motors will prepare the body of the car, in which the electric motor will be fitted in the car later. Electric motor and power train will fit in the car. Coming to the electronic car market, the government will get relief from the problem of pollution.


It is also reported that Tata Motors has received orders for 400 Electric Nano from the taxi aggregation platform Ola. 'Jayem Neo' electronic car will be able to run 140km after full charge. According to the report, this car under the electric system will generate 17 kW (23 hp).

It has also been said that the electric version of the Nano is only coming in the market for commercial use. However, there is no official information about this. Neo will now be launched under the brand name Jayem brand, later Tata will bring it to market under its brand.
