A piece of good news for the fuel consumers on 5th February that the price of petrol and diesel has been reduced once again. This the continuous sixth day on which the price of petrol has been decreased to 15 paise per litre. On the other side, the price of diesel also sees a reduction to 10 paise per litre in the metro cities.
Significantly, due to the decrement in the rate of crude oil in the international market, the price of diesel and petrol has become cheaper in India as well.

On Tuesday, the price of petrol has been reduced to 15 paise per litre in Delhi and now, selling at Rs 70.44 per litre after deduction. At the same time, in Kolkata, the price of petrol was cut by 15 paise to Rs 72.55 per litre.
Also, the price of petrol in financial capital, Mumbai, the price of petrol has reduced to Rs 76.08 per litre after the reduction of 14 paise per litre. In Chennai, the price of petrol has come down to Rs 73.11 per litre.

In Delhi, the price of diesel cut down to 10 paise to Rs 65.51 per litre. While in Kolkata, the diesel will sell today at Rs 67.29 per litre. At the same time in Mumbai and Chennai, the price of diesel has been reduced to 11 paise per litre and now, the current price of diesel in the two cities are 68.59 and Rs 69.20 per litre, respectively.
