Domestic petrol and diesel price were lessened on Saturday, this was a third stright day that the price have come down. In Delhi and Mumbai, the price of petrol was eased by 10 paise per litre, while diesel price were lowered by 14 paise per litre and 15 paise per litre respectively in contrast to the previous day’s price, as per the data from Indian Oil Corporation.
Currently, oil companies like Indian Oil Corporation assessment the oil prises everyday and any alter are carried out at the petrol pumps at 6 am.

In Kolkata, the petrol and diesel rate were Rs 75.97 and Rs 68.82 per litre. While in Chennai, the petrol and diesel price was Rs 76.14 and Rs 70.20 per litre. Domestic fuel rates depends broadly on International crude oil price and the foreign exchange rate of the rupee against the US dollar.
Crude rates went up over 2 per cent on Friday after Iranian media stated that oil tanker was attacked in the Red Sea near Saudi Arabia. The global standard for crude oil went up by $1.41 to settle at $60.51 per barrel.
