Women's world cup final: Akshay Kumar apologises for 'violating code of conduct for tricolor'
Akshay Kumar, who caught India and England fight for the Women's Cricket World Cup trophy in Lords on Sunday, has apologised for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor.
In a now deleted tweet, the 'Rustom' star, while cheering for the Indian team, was seen waving the Indian flag upside down. Following which, the actor was trolled on social media.
Akshay has now issued an apology which reads, "Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor. Didn't mean to offend anyone,the picture has been removed"

Earlier, the Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood Akshay Kumar visited the Lords International Stadium on 23 July to show his support to Indian women's cricket team in the final against England.
After visiting the stadium, the 49-year-old actor took it to twitter and put a picture of himself supporting team India. But the actor was waving the Indian national flag upside down.

After India lost to England in final by 9 runs, Kamaal R Khan trolled Akshay Kumar for holding the Indian Flag upside down. The self-proclaimed film critic even took a dig at Akshay Kumar’s Canadian citizenship.
