Will Fukrey Returns have a new release date?

Furkrey Returns starring Richa Chadda, Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Vishakha Singh, and Priya Anand is a sequel quirky comedy which released in 2013.

The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani and the sequel is slated to release on December 8. Now according to the latest buzz it might get push ahead.

A source says, “The makers are yet to start promotions for the film even though they have released the trailer. But since Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much talked about film Padmavati is set to release one week prior to Furkrey Returns, there is a possibility that team may shift a release.”

It is said that since Fukrey Returns is comparatively a small film, they will have to face a tough competition at box office even after a week of Padmavati’s release. Apart from that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai too is releasing in same week, so if they push the release date by one week then once again their collection will suffer.

Earlier John Abraham had chosen to shift his release date (December 8) of Parmanu, considering this situation and his film will now release next week
