Rishi Kapoor’s sudden demise shook not just his family but also his fans who were expecting to see an actor on the silver screen soon. The veteran actor passed away after succumbing to two years-long battle with Leukemia leaving everyone heartbroken. Post his demise, the Kapoor family released an official statement confirming his death and stated that during his last few hours he was cheerful.
Now, a video of him is going viral on the internet wherein we can see overwhelmed Rishi crying after watching son Ranbir’s performance in Sanju. As Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra are showing the first teaser of the film to Rishi we can hear him praising his son “Oh my god, the boy has really done well. I am so proud of him. I did not know Ranbir is coming, I thought Sanjay Dutt is coming.”

Later he turns towards the camera and says, "Ranbir if you are listening, you don't know how emotionally triggered I am when Raju and Vinod are showing me this trailer of yours. The first appearance of yours from the jail, I thought it was Sanjay Dutt.” However, he later adds that he is praising his son too much and he shouldn’t be praising him this much.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra alongside his darling girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The film also co-stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia, Shah Rukh Khan, among others.
