The film is directed by Aditya Dhar and the film will mainly show the bravery story of the Indian soldiers who killed several terrorists in the Pakistan borderline itself.

This is to notice that the Indian government announced a surgical strike against Pakistan in September 2016 to avenge the death of martyr soldiers of India died due to terrorist attack. The film Uri will be releasing on 11th January 2019, but eventually, the makers decided to give treat on the anniversary of the surgical strike.
