Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan’s starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is roaring at the box office since day 1, the film which was released on 10 January alongside Chhapaak is soon to collect 50 crores. On its first day of release, the film earned Rs 15.10 crore and on Saturday the film earned Rs 20.57 crore with total minting to Rs 35.67 crore.
On its third day, the film has collected Rs 26.08 crore with total minting up to Rs 61.75 crores as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The film which is also released in Marathi version is witnessing a remarkable record in Maharashtra alongside Rajinikanth’s Darbar.

The film revolves around the life of Tanhaji Malusare, who was the military leader during the reign of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It recounts how he fought Udaybhan Singh Rathore (Saif Ali Khan), Mughal emperor Aurangzeb’s soldier.
The film helmed by Om Raut stars Sharad Kelkar (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj), Shashank Shende, Devdatta Nage, Neha Sharma, Luke Kenny apart from Kajol, Ajay and Saif. The film has received immense applaud both from critics and audience.
In the coming days the film is expected to enter Rs 100 crore club and by the second week might cross the Rs 100 crore mark.
