Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise has left everyone in shock and with this entire nation was seen grieving over actor’s death. As per reports, the actor was battling with depression and as per Rhea Chakraborty in her statement, Sushant had stopped taking his medicines. Many of his fans and relatives are not able to believe that the actor took his own life and for this, they have requested for thorough inquiry in this case.
Since Sushant’s death, many have spoken about him, even one of his sisters was quite active on Facebook who kept updating the nation. However, the late actor’s father stayed mum since then and is till date not able to recover from the shock. After 11 days of his son’s death, Sushant’s father for the first time spoke about his late son, right from his career to his relationship status.

Speaking to Tadka Bollywood, Sushant’s father revealed that after a lot of prayers they were blessed with a boy. Calling Sushant gifted child he said that he was a brilliant and sincere child since a kid. He wanted to make his life on his own terms. The disheartened father further added, “Bohot mannat maang ke paida hua tha Sushant. 3 saal mannat maangi thi uske liye. 4 ladkiyon main ek ladka tha. Aur jinke liye itni mannat maangte hain unke sath yahi hota hai".
Sushant’s father further revealed that post his wife’s death in 2002 he chose a spiritual path. Losing a son at such a young age he added that spiritual connection with his son’s soul will always be there and once a person understands this it doesn’t affect them.
When asked about Ankita Lokhande he revealed that she not just met him in Mumbai after the actor’s demise but also came to Patna to meet them and to stand beside them in this tough time. Well, not just Ankita, Sushant’s father revealed that on the day of funeral Kriti Sanon came to meet him.
He said, “Aaye toh bohot log the lekin humse sirf Kriti Sanon mili thi, ha wo baith ke baat kiya. Hum toh baat nahi kiya, wo jo bol rahi thi hum sunte gaye. Kyuki muh pe mask tha toh hum kisiko pehechane nahi. Kriti Sanon bagal mein baithi thi aur kisine bataya toh malum hua ki...par wo thi ya nahi thi wo malum nahi ha par ek smart ladki thi aur bol rahi thi ki pyaara ladka tha, yehi sab baat hai."
His father concludes by saying that earlier Sushant used to tell him everything regarding what is happening in his life and how he is feeling. However, from the past few months, he had stopped telling him. He said, “Dekhiye ye sanjog ki baat hai, jo likha hota hai woi hota hai. Hum pressure nahi dete aur ye such ke chalet the ki isko pressure kis cheeze ka na de.”
Meanwhile, Sushant’s last film Dil Bechara is set to release on Disney+ on 24th July. However, Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Vikas Gupta, Rajkummar Rao, among others are against this move and are repeatedly asking for theatrical release.
