Sushant Singh Rajput earned over Rs 30 crore in last 2-3 years: Reports

Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case has been getting murkier with each passing day. Several theories claimed that the actor was neither in depression nor was struggling for work. There is no doubt that the 34-year-old actor has earned a lot of success at his early stage and this has also been proved by his bank statements.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also revealed the same that the actor was not facing any financial crunch and neither he was struggling to find work. ED is probing the case related to the money laundering allegations against Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her family members, and two staffers—Shruti Modi and Samuel Miranda.


According to a report in India Today, ED sources said that the statement of Jayanti Saha, talent manager of SSR working with Kwaan Talent Management agency, has revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput had earned around Rs 30 to 35 crore in the past two-three years from various projects. The claims have been confirmed with his bank documents and statements.

Reportedly, ED will analyse Sushant’s work-related payments and will also compare his income with his expenditure incurred and investments, that were done by the late actor.

On the other hand, Ritesh Modi, a tax consultant of Rhea Chakraborty had also submitted some taxation-related and investment-related documents of Rhea to ED. The agency is going to anlayse these documents and has also summoned both Ritesh Shah and Ritesh Modi.

As per reports, CA of Sushant Singh Rajput, Sandip Sridhar will also be called again.

Enforcement Directorate will also record statements of other family members of Sushant which would include his sisters. Sushant’s sister Meetu Singh has already recorded her statement with ED in Mumbai.

While the remaining family members could record their statements with ED in Delhi.

On August 19, the Supreme Court of India ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate the case.
