Sushant denies recommending Kriti for his next.

After Raabta the actor has been busy preparing for his next, Chanda Mama Door Me.

Sushant will be seen playing an astronaut in CMDM. The film makers were speculating which actress to approach for the female lead since a while now. Earlier there were reports that the actor has recommended his alleged girlfriend Kriti Sanon's name for the role. Recently, when the actor was asked about it, he responded, "No, I only push for myself (Laughs). If I find a good script nothing matters to me: my fees or not anything else I just say I'll give my best just take me. So, I just push for myself and nobody else." The actor further added that they are yet to finalise the actress. "They are in talks and very close to signing somebody. As soon as it gets done, they will announce it."

Earlier this week it was reported that Shraddha Kapoor has been finalised for the female lead but the makers have not confirmed the news yet.

The story revolves around three astronauts played by Sushant, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and a female actress. The team is expected to start shooting by the end of September. However, Shushant has already begun prepping up for his role and recently also underwent training at NASA. Directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, the film will also feature R. Madhavan in a pivotal role.
