Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor starrer Street Dancer 3D opened the account with 10. 26 crores on its first day. The film helmed by Remo D’Souza hit the big screens on Friday also starring ace dancers Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak, Raghav Jauyal, Sushant Khatri among others.
Talking about the second-day collection the film has collected 13.21 crores on Saturday. Total amount minted to Rs 23.47 crores. Taran Adarsh wrote, "#StreetDancer3D is on track on Day 2... Witnesses substantial growth, which keeps it in the race... #Mumbai circuit leads, while other circuits gather pace post noon onwards... Day 3 [#RepublicDay] should boost"
Though the film witnessed a great start, however, it failed to break the record of ABCD 2 opening day. The film is high on music and drama with a pinch of patriotism. The film received applaud from the audience but failed to impress critics, according to them te film lacked storyline.

The traders expected a good start i.e they around 15 crores, however, failed to hit the box office and Tanhaji stands as the reason. The film has entered the 200 crore club and in Mumbai the competition is high.
The film released on 3700 screens both in 2D and 3D format across the country while 670 screens overseas. The film clashed with Panga and outperformed Kangana Ranaut's film.
