This Friday two films released in the theatres, one is Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree and another one was Dharmendra, Bobby Deol, and Sunny Deol starrer film Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se. One hand, film Stree is getting an appreciation from the critics and the audience, and this is the reason that Stree has got a great opening at the box office.
The horror-comedy drama film Stree did quite well on an opening day and collected 6.82 crores from the box office, however, on the second day the film saw a huge growth and collected 10.87 crores, with this the film total collected 17.69 crores. This is really interesting to see at the box office that a low budget film and good content can pull off the audience.

The film Stree is made on the very small budget of 20 crores and it already has collected 17 crores, so if the film collects same like Saturday, or saw a growth then it will be a hit in an opening weekend only. The film even has a benefit of having a holiday on Monday.

As it is known that Monday will be a national holiday in the favour of Janmashtami, so this is also a good sign for the film to perform at the box office. However, the makers have already announced its sequel before its theatrical release.
