Actor Amit Sadh, who will be seen sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar in the upcoming film "Gold", says he loves sports and it has been a big part of his life.
"Gold" is a sports drama directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner Excel Entertainment. This will be the second time after "Sultan" that he would be seen starring in the same genre.
Asked if sports based films interest him, Amit told IANS over mail from London: "I love sports and it's been a big part of my life. It's the world that I am familiar with and feel happy to be in. There's no better triumph story than one in a sports environment."
The film will also mark the Bollywood debut of popular TV actress Mouni Roy.
The film is about India's first Olympic medal win as a free nation in the year 1948 at the 14th Olympic Games at London. It will release on Independence Day in 2018.
