Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Box Office Collection Day 1: Here is how much Luv Ranjan's 'romance vs bromance' drama earned

After two hit films Pyar Ka Punchnama and its sequel Pyar Ka Punchnama 2, Luv Ranjan came up with another interesting plot in which he showed the concept of 'romance vs bromance' in his film with a tongue twister title 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.' The movie had Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh Nijjar playing the roles of Sonu, Sweety and Titu respectively.

The movie got released on the silver screen on February 23 and now the first day box office collection report of the movie is out. The movie directed by Luv Ranjan earned Rs 5 crore at the box office on the first day of its release.

As per the Indian Express, the famous trade analyst, Girish Johar said, “From its trailer to its foot-tapping music, the film has made sure to cater content according to the taste of its target audience. And considering the popularity of Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise with the youth of the country, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is expected to have a strong box office opening of around Rs 4.25 crore. If the content is as good and the film is able to click with the audiences, the film could even go on to earn a sum of Rs 14 crore by the end of the weekend.”

The film has got nice reviews and it is expected that the film will do well at the box-office.

The other movie that got released along with the film was the multistarrer film 'Welcome To New York'  which according to reports had a bad start but will work well in Punjab as it starr singer Diljit Dosanjh.
