However, a few days back the Netflix released a small teaser of Sacred Games season 2 and revealed that it will come out on October month. Now reports are that this MeToo campaign has raised the issue for the second season and it because of Varun Grover who got accused of sexual harassment.

Varun Grover is the co-writer of Sacred Games and after the allegations, there were the reports that makers are thinking to drop Varun Grover's name from the series, but now things have been tough. According to a close source of Netflix, they may drop the second season of Sacred Games.
The source told Bollywood Hungama, “Dropping Varun Grover’s name as co-writer is not an option here. Either he stays or the series is dropped.”
