Kangana Ranaut who has been continuously voicing her claims against Bollywood ever since Sushant Singh Rajput died, has received support from veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha. In an interview with Republic TV, the veteran actor spoke about late actor, his untimely demise and reasons behind it. Also, he opened up on ‘groupism and favouritism’ in Bollywood during his era.
In conversation with Republic TV, Shatrughan said that though he met the Dil Bechara actor only once, however in that one meeting he found him a thorough gentleman, a very kind human and a wonderful human being. Speaking on the actor’s death he added that he was told that late actor was a victim of groupism. “I feel if this happened, some people are to blame- if they promised him things and didn’t keep them - they are responsible.”

He further went on to recall that during his era also ‘groupism’ existed and went on to reveal details regarding who lead the groups and how he stayed away from it. He revealed “superstar Rajesh Khanna had a group - his loyalists wouldn’t want any other actor to come up. I used to hear about Shammi Kapoor also having a group like this.” However, it was he and Dharmendra who always kept away from these groups.

In his interview, he also appreciated and backed Kangana Ranaut for being outspoken and fighting against Bollywood single-handedly. He called Kangana lady Dharmendra and added that she has made her niche in Bollywood on her own without any left, right and centre support.
