Sanjay Gupta takes a dig at SRK; supports Akshay Kumar’s Toilet on Independence Day

The clash between Sanjay Gupta’s last film, Kaabil and Raees got ugly as the director alleged Shah Rukh Khan and the team of playing dirty games in the business.

Although Kaabil did decent business at the box-office, the film could not tap onto its true potential due to the clash. A few days back, the producers of Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha postponed their release to August 11, which resulted in a clash with Shah Rukh Khan – Anushka Sharma’s next film.

Following the announcement, Sanjay Gupta took to twitter to direct a sly tweet towards Shah Rukh Khan. He tweeted,

"KARMA, you beauty! I love and believe in you so much. I love how you go after all that f*** with you. KARTAM BHUKTAM on Independence Day.”

However, the director later on retracted the tweet. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, SRK's film is reportedly titled Raula.

The film will battle it out with Toilet: Ek Prem Katha at the box-office.
