It looks like that Vicky Kaushal is on cloud nine these days and his back to back projects are the proof of it. The current update is that Vicky Kaushal who played Pakistani officer in Meghna Gulzar's superhit film Raazi is once again going to collaborate with Meghna. This time Meghna Gulzar will be making a biopic on Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw and Vicky Kaushal will be playing a leading role in it.

The makers announced the film with its first look and Vicky Kaushal is looking too fit in the role of Sam Manekshaw. Vicky has done a photo shoot in the same pose of Manekshaw that has always been viral on social media. Sam Manekshaw was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal.

Sam Manekshaw's career in defence was around 4 decades and he started his service in the British Indian Army in World War II. The film will mainly feature how Manekshaw forced the Pakistan army to surrender in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, where Bangladesh was independent from Pakistan.
Well, this will be Vicky Kaushal's third film related to the army, first, he played Pakistan army officer in Raazi, then he played Para commando in Uri-The Surgical Strike and now he will be seen in Manekshaw's shoes. This will also be Vicky Kaushal's second biopic film after Udham Singh of director Shoojit Sircar.
