The superstar reached Mumbai last night to celebrate the festival with his family.
The actor has been busy shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai in Abu Dhabi and due to his packed schedule, it was earlier reported that he might miss the festival this year. Salman Khan was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Wednesday night, along with his two sisters Alvira and Arpita and his youngest nephew Ahaan.
This year the festival will not be celebrated at his Galaxy apartment in Bandra. As per reports, the Khans have decided to get the idol at Arpita's house this year. Normally, the Khans keep the Ganpati for three days at their home but, we aren't sure how many days will Arpita will have it.
Apparently, celebrating the festivities at his sister's home was the idea given by Salim Khan as Salman can come only for a short period of time due to his hectic schedule.
According to sources, the actor will attend the pooja of Ganesh Chaturthi on August 25, and the next day he will be leaving to Abu Dhabi to finish rest of the shoot of the film.
