Saif Ali Khan signs a film with R. Madhavan?

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Chef, which released earlier this month. The film could not do too well at box office and there was a buzz that Saif’s other film Kaalakaandi might release online. It was said that Saif is now willing to focus on his web series Sacred Games. But the actor has signed a new film.

“Saif has been getting some offers and he particularly liked this two hero project. He has given his nod to it and will start work on it sometime later after he finishes his web series,” a source said.

It is said that the film is being made under Anand L Rai’s banner and will be directed by Navdeep Singh. Navdeep had directed Anushka Sharma’s debut production NH 10. The reports also suggest it might feature Anand’s one of the favourite actors R. Madhavan in it. Madhavan and Saif had worked together long ago in Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, which went on to become a hit.

Apart from Kaalakaandi and Sacred Games, Saif has also finished shooting for his upcoming film Baazaar, which is yet to get a release date.
