Sad! Ranbir Kapoor's grandmother and Raj Kapoor's wife Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away at the age of 87

Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor's grandmother and legendary late filmmaker Raj Kapoor's wife Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away on Monday morning due to cardiac arrest. She passed away at the age of 86 and it is really sad for the Kapoor family who recently was in the news for selling ancient Raj Kapoor Studio.

“My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest…old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise,” son Randhir Kapoor told PTI.

Even the Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon tweeted, “Condolences to the entire Kapoor family. An era passes away,#KrishnaRajKapoor .God give you strength,and may the soul rest in peace. Om Shanti. @chintskap”

 

 

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, Legendary Raj Kapoor ji's wife #KrishnaRajKapoor ji passed away today morning. Condolences to the family. RIP.

Kareena Kapoor's sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan tweeted, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of #KrishnaRajKapoor The few times I interacted with her were so memorable; she was an incredible personality full of life and passion and with never a hair out place! She will be missed greatly. My deepest condolences to the family.

Significantly, recently Kapoor family was in the news for confirming the news of selling their heritage RK Studio because of huge loss after the fire and other things. Whether, yesterday, Rishi Kapoor was in the news for going to America for medical treatment for the next 45 days. Krishna Raj Kapoor was married to Raj Kapoor and they have five children, three sons and two daughters. Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, and Rajiv Kapoor were the sons of Krishna Raj Kapoor, whether Ritu Nanda and Rima Jain were the daughters.
