Rohit Shetty wishes to work with Shah Rukh Khan again

Rohit has apparently offered scripts for Shah Rukh to consider.

Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan worked together in Dilwale in 2016. Before that they had come together in Chennai Express. Now the filmmaker is wanting to collaborate with the actor once again for a new film. A source says, “Rohit and Shah Rukh have said to have met few times. During these meetings, they spoke about a couple of projects. However, Shah Rukh has not yet given his approval to it.”

It is not confirmed whether Shah Rukh did not like the scripts or he is busy with other projects ,so he could not give commitment to Rohit.  Incidentally Rohit’s multi-starrer Dilwale could not do well at box office ,even though it brought together on screen hit pair of Shah Rukh –Kajol after many years. Later Kajol reportedly showed her displeasure over film’s box office collection during one of the media interaction. Now is it one of the reasons why Shah Rukh is said to have not been keen to sign the film with Rohit,that is not clear. Their earlier collaboration, Chennai Express was a black buster. 

Shah Rukh is currently preparing for Anand L Rai’s untitled film and then promote Imtiaz Ali’s tentatively titled film,  Rehnuma which stars Anushka Sharma.
