72nd Republic Day celebrations begin across the country today. The entire world is all set to witness the patriotic spirit of India. R-day is celebrated every year on January 26 with great fervor and zeal. It is commemorated as the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950.
On this day, the nation enjoys the parade ceremony by regiments of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and paramilitary forces at Rajpath. The parades by armed forces and school children showcase a multi-hued image of the country's rich cultural heritage and military prowess.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, schoolchildren were not allowed to participate in the grand event.
It is not incorrect to say that be it any festival or occasion, it remains incomplete without songs and the same thing goes with Republic Day.
