Rangoon Box-Office: Poor start for this Shahid Kapoor –Kangana Ranaut film!

Rangoon had a very poor start at the Box-Office as the film raked in around Rs 6.07 crore on its opening day.
The Shahid Kapoor – Kangana Ranaut film recorded very low occupancy throughout the day and there was not much of growth even in the evening and night shows. The film was benefitted a bit by the Maha Shivratri Holiday and the collections would have been even worse on a regular Friday.
The budget of Rangoon is on the higher side and the opening day number in itself has sealed the fate of the film. To have any sort of chance, the film has to touch the double digit mark on Sunday and have a strong hold on Monday at collections equivalent to the opening day.
