Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer film Stree is doing quite well at the box office and the makers are quite happy with the success. Producer Dinesh Vijan who produced the venture and also the writers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are quite happy with the happy response.
Pinkvilla quoted Dinesh Vijan by saying, “The film’s last two shots actually set up the sequel. When you watch the movie, you will understand that we intentionally had an open ending. Stree 2 will start off from there and explain those shots. We have written it as a franchise, so there will be a sequel. We are happy that the confidence in the content has paid off.”
Even there is a lot of part in the film that has shot only to connect with its sequel. There were some scenes that were only to be relevant in the sequel of the franchise. Dinesh Vijan further told, “Along with Shraddha’s backstory, a few other pertinent questions will be answered in the second instalment. The cast will be retained, but there will be new inclusions too. Predominantly, it will still be driven by Raj and Shraddha’s characters. We hope to go on floors with Stree 2 by the end of 2019. And hopefully, in two years, we will be ready with it.”

Talking about the film Stree then it has collected more than 30 crores in the three opening days and with this report, it is clear that it will soon enter 50 crores club.
