Rajkumar Rao's Newton has created a buzz in Hindi film industry with its Oscar nomination for foreign language film category. The entire Bollywood is praising the Film Federation of India for choosing Newton as India's official entry.

As per reported by DNA India, the global desi girl of India Priyanka Chopra and her mother Madhu Chopra is not happy with the FFI's film selection. Because the actress was expecting that her film 'Ventilator' would be chosen as India's official entry in 90th Academy Awards.

The film Ventilator has created a buzz in International awards and had also received standing ovation at the New York Film Festival. Priyanka's film was also racing along with Newton and Bahubali 2 for its Oscar nomination.

The entire crew of Ventilator was ready for its official entry in Oscar from India and Peecee had even prepared her action plan for the film's pre Oscar selection. While talking to DNA Priyanks's films director Rajesh Mhapuskar said that the Bajirao Mastani fame must be upset as she was very much excited about the film and if her film would have been selected she would have did anything in her capacity to reach as much people with her film as possible.

“I guess, Priyanka must be even more disappointed because she was always ambitious about the film. Had it been selected, she would have ensured that it was the most-talked-about film in the run to the Oscars, especially since she is already an established name there. Ventilator was always the favorite baby of their banner” the director said.
