Since the film Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi has out it has become a part of controversies. The director Krish, who is popular for making many magnum opus films and was also being associated with Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika has openly come out against the actress and made allegations on the actress that she stole the credit of his hard work on the film.
Recently in an interview to a leading website, Krish openly came out against Manikarnika actress Kangana Ranaut and said that she is actually the bossy woman on the sets. She just not even stole his hard work and also chopped other actors roles. Even Sonu Sood had to make exit from after having a dispute with the actress.
Now since Krish has come out openly, so the writer of Simran, last film of Kangana Ranaut also has openly slammed the actress for stealing the credit of his writing. Not just Apurva but the director Hansal Mehta also has said for the first time that Simran was a bad chapter for him and his career. He went through a lot during those days.
Writer Apurva tweeted, "You can... Hijack the passion project of a senior director Hire another director, but fire him after he's completed the film.. Claim credit as the films director.. Even have the trade & press support your evil shenanigans...but still make a flop film.."

Hijack the passion project of a senior director
Hire another director, but fire him after he's completed the film..
Claim credit as the films director..
Even have the trade & press support your evil shenanigans..
..but still make a flop film!#InstantKarmasGonnaGetYou
Whats going to hurt more brother Krish is that she will run a vicious smear campaign to destroy your credibility. And worse, a large section of the media, esp the pseudo feminists, will ignore your story like they did when Ketan Mehta & then I claimed she hijacked our films. Sad. https://t.co/QukNkY0odY

Director #Krish exposes how #KanganRanaut hijacked #Manikarnika. This is exactly what she did on Simran too. Waited for me to complete the cut (minus patchwork), told me how much she loved it, then had me thrown out by coluding wth producer-before she went onto screw up the film. https://t.co/iiKOLux5jw

Hansal Mehta, THIS is the mindfuck you & Kangana put me through on Simran which led me to a breakdown. If you had the courage to stand up then, we could have weathered many more storms together. I salute Krish's courage & goodness, especially when he talks of his team. #catharsis https://t.co/gEgL1GPSKU

Actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhat also came out in support of Apurva Asrani and tweeted, "Am sorry if it seemed like I was being reticent with regards to my support then. The details of that situation, even though spelt out by all seemed murky to me which is why I didn’t jump in. Though I always maintained that Hansal’s silence felt odd & rather unjust."

Her game is brutal. She first plays the victim & wins your trust. You give your all, sacrifice all other work, because she seems lovely. Then when you're ready with a film you nurtured/created, she has you thrown out. Then she uses the press & trolls to character assasinate you. https://t.co/TehVA7NyGR

Even director Hansal Mehta wrote a post and shared, "Many people keep dragging me into the controversies around Kangana Ranaut that seem to erupt from time to time. For the last time - Simran is a closed chapter as far as I am concerned. The past two years have been difficult, very difficult. They have impacted me financially, mentally, and physically. I am dealing with my losses in the most constructive manner possible and in the only way I know - by moving on."
