Phillauri: Budget and Screen Count of this Anushka Sharma – Diljit Dosanjh film revealed!

Anushka Sharma’s second home production, Phillauri also starring Suraj Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh, is slated to hit the big screen this week.

The film is jointly produced by Fox Star Studios who would also distribute the film globally. Sources have confirmed that the film will release on nearly 1000 screens in India mainly targeted towards the metros and the Northern belt.

The landing cost of the film is Rs 21 crore and the corporate has already recovered Rs 12 crore by selling the satellite and music rights.

CEO of Fox Star Studios, Vijay Singh confirmed the news by saying,

“Phillauri is a special film for Fox Star Studios. After back to back successes with Jolly LLB2 & Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, we are excited to be releasing Phillauri - a high concept film with a big heart ! We were bowled over with the concept of the film and immediately decided to back it.

The film's cost was absolutely correct and with us recovering 12 crore already from satellite and music before the release of the film, Phillauri is a profitable venture again from Fox Star Studios. We are now eager to see the reaction of the audiences and we are hopeful that they will embrace the film."
