Kangana Ranaut starrer Panga hit the big screens on Friday, however, on the first day the film had a slow start minting just Rs 2.7crore. The film helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari also stars Jassie Gill, Richa Chadha and Neena Gupta.
Talking about the second-day collection the film managed to earn Rs 5.61 crore on Saturday with a total amount of 8.31 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to announce the good news, he wrote “#Panga flies high on Day 2... Glowing word of mouth has come into play... Witnesses excellent growth across metros... Improves in multiplexes of Tier-2 cities... Needs to cover lost ground on Day 3 [#RepublicDay]... Fri 2.70 cr, Sat 5.61 cr. Total: ₹ 8.31 cr.”

The film released along with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Street Dancer 3D and this can be one the reason for Panga’s slow start. On its first day, Street Dancer 3D minted over Rs 10 crore.
Talking about the film Panga is a tale of a 32-year-old woman coming back and fighting for her stature and rights in this society. The film released at 1450 screens across the country while 450 screens overseas.
