Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor starrer film Padman is able to collect more than 40 crores in the opening weekend. The film collected 10.26 crores on Friday, 13.68 crores on Saturday, and 16.11 crores on Sunday. With this, the film was already crossed 40 crores at the box office. The film is getting good appreciation and audience is also liking the performance of Radhika Apte, Sonam Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar.
Now according to the current reports, the film is doing good on weekdays also and it has collected 5.87 crores on Monday. With this, the film now stands for 45.92 crores in opening four days.

Radhika Apte has been seen in the role of Akshay Kumar's wife, while Sonam Kapoor has played an important part in this film of R Balki. The film has released on 2750 screens in India and 600 screens in overseas. According to looking the buzz, the film can do good on other weekdays also.
However, next film is Aiyaary that is releasing in next week and then the film Padman can have a tough competition. Earlier Aiyaary and Padman were supposed to have a clash at the box office but it didn't happen due to the fate of both films.
