Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, and Radhika Apte starrer film Padman have finally released on Friday 9th February. The film has got a high opening and it has made a huge buzz through its critics and audience response. While talking about the box office collection of the film then it has taken a huge start at the box office.
According to the early trends the film has collected approx 14 crores on its opening day and now the makers can expect approx 50-60 crores earning in the opening weekend. The film has released on 2750 screens in India, and 600 screens in overseas. However, there is no big film around Padman so the film will easily be able to collect high in one week.

Well, Padmaavat is still in the theaters and this will affect Padman surely at the box office. Talking about the story of the film then it is story of a person named Arunachal Muruganathan who made low cost sanitary pads for women for using it during periods. While in this film, Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Laxmikant Chauhan.
