On birthday Aamir Khan announces his next film 'Laal Singh Chadha', remake of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has announced his next film on his birthday today on 14th March. The film will be an official remake of Hollywood Film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. The film will be titled as Laal Singh Chaddha and will be directed by Secret Superstar director Advait Chandan, The film will be made under Viacom 10 Motion Pictures who also made Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial film Padmaavat.

Advait Chandan was the assistant director of Taare Zameen Par and Dhobi Ghat before making his directorial debut with Secret Superstar starring Zaira Wasim and Aamir Khan in the leading roles.

Talking about Forrest Gump it was released in 1994 and based on the same name novel came out in 1986. The film Forrest Gump narrated the story of a slow-witted but kind-hearted man from Alabama. The person who finds unwittingly, influences, several defining historical events in the 20th century of the US.

The film will soon go on floors and it will release around 2020. However, on the other hand, Aamir Khan is also busy in his ambitious project Mahabharata. Let us tell you that Aamir Khan starrer last released film Thugs Of Hindostan tanked at the box office and it was called a disastrous.
