The veteran actor Anupam Kher has revealed that 1987 released Shekhar Kapur directorial Mr India's villain Mogambo was first offered to him. While remembering veteran late actor Amrish Puri on his 87th birthday, Anupam Kher said Amrish Puri was his very close friend. He even said that it was very sad to remember an actor who is not alive today.
Well, remembering the cast of Mr India, Anupam Kher said that Mr India's Mogambo role was first offered to him but after few months makers finalized Amrish Puri to do the role. He further added when you came out of any film at that time you feel bad as an artist but when he saw Amrish Puri playing Mogambo's role then he thought that the makers took the right decision to cast Amrish Puri.
