Navratri Songs 2020: 5 Bollywood songs of Maa Durga on auspicious 9-days festival

Amid this Coronavirus people in India have geared up to celebrate the auspicious 9-days festival, Chaitra Navratri from today i.e 25th March. In this festival devotees will worship nine avatars of Goddess Durga i.e Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Kaalrati, Katyayani, Mahagauri and Siddhidhatri in this 9 days long festival.

Well, there are four Navratris that fall in a year, however, we all celebrate only 2 of it that is Chaitra Navratri that usually falls after Holi and Sharad Navaratri along with Ram Navmi before few days of Diwali.

Those who don’t know then let us tell you that Chaitra Navratri is a synonym of the beginning of Hindu’s New Year. In different states this new year is known with different names such as in Maharashtra it is known as Gudi Padwa, In Tamil Nadu as Chaitra Vishu or Puthandu in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh as Ugadi.
