Naam Shabana box-office: Akshay Kumar – Taapsee Pannu’s film shows good trend in weekend!

After an average opening, Naam Shabana gathered the momentum over the weekend as the film raked in approximately Rs 19 crore in its three day run at the box-office.

The jump in collection of Naam Shabana has come majorly at the multiplexes as the single screens fell flat through-out the weekend. The opening weekend collections are better than films like Rangoon, Phillauri and Commando 2, however a lot of credit goes to Akshay Kumar’s presence in the film.

Day wise box-office collection:

• Friday: Rs 5.12 crore
• Saturday: Rs 6.37 crore
• Sunday: Rs 7.50 crore
• Total: Rs 19 crore (Early Estimate)

The real test for Naam Shabana starts today as the film budget is on the higher side and so was the acquisition price. If the film manages to surpass the Rs 40 crore mark in the long, it would attain the hit status and the hold in collections on Monday will give us the hint about the trend on weekdays
