Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is busy shooting for Abhishek Varman's next film Kalank and soon she will also start the shooting for Dabangg 3 starring alongside Salman Khan. While in between this, the actress has got one big film and the film is Mogul, Gulshan Kumar's biopic.
According to a recent report, Sonakshi Sinha has been approached for a leading role in the film Mogul. According to DNA, "The film dates back to the ’70s and ’80s and the team was looking for a heroine, who could exude that retro vibe. It’s a small, but meaningful role. Sona will only need to shoot for a few days. When she heard the script, she liked it and told Bhushan that she would do it. But the modalities still need to be worked out,"

This report also suggests, Sonakshi although has given nod to this project but officially has not signed it. The movie will narrate the journey of Gulshan Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha may be seen playing the role of one of his girlfriends.

Meanwhile, the film is in the discussions since its announcement and the reason is its casting and other allegations. Earlier Akshay Kumar was supposed to play a leading role in the film but he came out of the project. Then Aamir Khan showed interest to do Mogul, then the director Subhash Kapoor was dropped over sexual harassment charges.
