Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh have collaborated once again for Milap Zaveri's next action-thriller drama Marjaavaan. The film that was supposed to release on 2nd October 2019 has not been postponed for some another date. However, in between that the makers have released the first look of Ritiesh Deshmukh and Sidharth Malhotra in their looks.
Riteish Deshmukh plays the leading the villain named Vishnu, a 3 feet dwarf. While the makers have already shared the look of Sidharth Malhotra during the launch but this time Sidharth can be seen in action avatar from the film. The makers shared the looks of the actor in which they both are looking daring having guns in their hands.
Milap Zaveri who has worked with Riteish Deshmukh previously told that he knew that Riteish won't do negative character until it has something unique. “We decided to make his villain a three-foot-tall but larger-than-life midget with a wicked sense of humour. His Vishnu is arrogant and thinks he is invincible,” said Milap Zaveri.

The director also confirmed that the character has been written taking little inspiration from Lord Vishnu's fifth avatar, Vaaman, who was also a dwarf. In one of the scene, Riteish Deshmukh also says the same dialogue.
According to Marjaavaan director Milap Zaveri, the release date of the film has now been postponed for 22nd November. It is all because of delay in the VFX especially with Riteish as a dwarf.
