Rani Mukerji, Vishal Jethwa starrer Mardaani 2 is getting amazing response from the audience from the past two days. At the first day of release the film collected 3.80 crores while on its second day it went up to 6.55 crore overall it is 10.35 crores.
Talking about the third day then it is estimated the film will collect Rs 7 crore approx making it up to 17 crores overall. With this, Mardaani 2 has broken opening weekend collections’ record of Rani from the last two films Mardaani and Hichki.

The film aims to draw attention towards the crime against women committed by the juveniles. In this film, Rani plays the role of Superintendent of Police while Vishal plays a negative role. The film was released across 1600 screens in India.

Before hitting the theatres the film fell in the clutches of controversy where the Kota residents claimed that the film is not based on facts and is tarnishing the image of the education hub. After such allegations makers immediately came out to clear the air and said that despite all the inspirations at the end of the day Mardaani 2 is a film and it should be seen as that only.
