Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi will be releasing on 25th January but, before its theatrical release, there will be a special screening for President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Friday.
As per the reports, ‘We are extremely honoured, glad and proud that the President will be watching this film before its theatrical release,’ read a statement issued by an official from the production house.
During the screening of the film at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre, the whole team of the film will also be attended along with the President Kovind.
Basically, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi is a biopic of the Indian Rebellion Rani Laxmibai.
The role of Rani Laxmibai has been played by the Queen actress Kangana.
"Our entire team is really looking forward to presenting Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, a story about Rani Laxmibai's strength and bravery for an Independent India, to the most important entity of the Republic of India - our President," Kangana said.
In this film, Kangana has also tried her directorial skills for the first time in the film for a few portions only. However, Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi (Krish) is the primary director of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi.
