Mohit Suri is coming back after 3 years with a power pack film Malang starring Aditya as Advait, Disha as Sara, Anil as Anjaney Agashe (cop) and Kunal as Michael Rodrigues (cop).
The film starts with a powerful battle between, Advait and an army of inmates in prison. We don’t get to see his face until he has overpowered the last and the most powerful of them. Soon film goes in a flashback mode (5 years ago) wherein Advait who is an ambivert by nature meets Sara who is a free-spirited soul from London. Sara comes to India for the first time and bumps into Advait during her Goa trip and after spending some quality time both fall for each other.
All is well until a twist in the tale sends their lives spinning out of control and changes Advait totally. Here the movie comes back to the present wherein he goes on a killing spree on Christmas night. Anjaney, a police officer who doesn’t follow the law and Michael, a righteous cop have been appointed to hunt Advait down. During their journey to find him they come across many secrets and reasons as to why Advait is on a killing spree and this is what the rest of the film is about.

Talking about the characters then every character has a grey part and essays their part well. After a long time, Kunal has been given the right script to act on and show his skills while Aditya adorns this killer avatar well. Anil is in top form and stuns in another interesting act while Disha looks stunning and makes most of her role.
At the last Malang is a fusion of romance and thriller wherein in the first half it's all about Disha and Aditya and second half it's all about from one thrill to another. Well, music does break the momentum at few portions, nut it manages to narrate an intriguing story without making you look at the watch.
