Lucknow Central: Farhan Akhtar reveals about the days spent in Yerwada Jail

On the releasing day of movie Lucknow Central, Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar has revealed about the days that he spent in the Yerwada Central Jail.

Farhan told that the atmosphere inside the jail is very disciplined and clean.


He said that the officers try to make them efficient before the release of every prisoner, which can bring self confidence among them.

Farhan went to jail in Pune to release the song of his film 'Lucknow Central' in August.

The actor shared his experience in an episode of MTV's 'Baba Ki Chowki'.

Farhana said, "The climate of Yaravada is very disciplined and clean." Emphasis on reform is important and they try to develop skills in each prisoner, after which the confidence of them can be build at the time of their releasing from jail”.

He told, “There is a small room in Yerwada, where they have a radio jockey house. Prisoners told that Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) used to spend a lot of time there in singing and listening to music and reading positive stories”.

Amid multiple releases this Friday, Lucknow Central's content is being largely lauded by critics.

With the first shows coming to an end, 'Lucknow Central' is ahead in the race with a unanimous thumbs up from one and all.

'Lucknow Central' marks yet another story inspired by a real life story in cinemas with Farhan Akhtar, Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq hatching a musical plan to escape out of prison.

The film is supported with power-packed performances by Ravi Kishan, Ronit Roy and Diana Penty in addition to an appearance by Manoj Tiwari, bringing together some of finest actors of Indian Cinema.

In this clash, it is ' Lucknow Central' that has taken a head-start, with a barrage of positive reviews on its side once again proving that content is the king of all.
